You could say I always had a thing for travel.
Just like others know they are going to be a doctor, lawyer or vet, I knew from a very young age that there was no other industry than tourism for me.
There’s something about the people, the atmosphere and the passion within tourism – you simply can’t beat it!
So, when I turned 18, I left my home country of Germany and spent 8 years travelling the world whilst working in multiple tourism, hospitality and digital marketing jobs.
It was important to me to understand what it takes to run a travel business before specialising in the creative, business support aspect. So, I worked as a barista, tour guide, and travel agent for years – all whilst freelancing as a graphic designer and SEO copywriter.
And when I graduated from Uni – in the middle of a time when tourism didn’t seem like a good career choice (let’s not say the C word) – I moved into a full-time digital marketing position at a Scottish DMO. I wanted to play a part in rebuilding and reshaping travel.
I realised there was a big demand for more accessible digital marketing support and – to be perfectly honest – helping one organisation simply didn’t feel like enough.
So, in 2022, I took the jump into freelancing and started Creative Globe Studio. The goal?
Support as many tourism & experience businesses as possible in achieving their vision – no matter the size or budget!
